Prescription Benefit Programs
Today, more than ever, prescription medicine represents a large portion of plan expenses. EBS-RMSCO works
with several of the nation’s leading Prescription Benefit Managers (PBMs) to administer integrated medical
and prescription drug cards. The benefits of these programs are:
- Simplification of Claims Administration:
- Rx Claims are transmitted to EBS-RMSCO in NCPDP format and are loaded into our claims system for
payment
- Benefit Options:
- We offer multiple cost-effective options, from a basic mail order only to the more sophisticated
formulary based multi-tier co-payment designs
- Audits:
- EBS-RMSCO retains a Pharmacist to audit our PBM partners. This ensures that discounts are achieved
and formularies are adhered to.
